The technical requirements for installing SF6 circuit breakers are as follows:
(1) Familiar with technical information such as manufacturer manuals and drawings, prepare installation and commissioning plans, and prepare leak detection instruments and nitrogen gas.
(2) When installing the main body, the dimensions between each phase should match the manufacturer's requirements, especially the position of the control box.
(3) When hoisting the casing, protective materials must be wrapped around the casing to avoid damaging it. Before fastening the contact surface, it must be thoroughly cleaned and the moisture-proof desiccant must be removed during transportation.
(4) Before installing the sulfur hexafluoride pipeline, it must be thoroughly purged with dry nitrogen gas, and the sealing at all pipeline flanges should be good.
(5) Before installing the air duct, the pipe must be thoroughly blown clean with dry air. During the installation process, it is necessary to strictly prevent dust and debris from falling into the pipe.
(6) When filling SF6 gas, measures should be taken to prevent it from getting damp.
(7) After filling SF6 gas, use a leak detector to check the pipe joints and flanges for any air leakage.
(8) The compressed air system (nitrogen) should be checked at the specified pressure for all joints and flanges, and no air leakage is allowed.
